Hi,

I want to know if there are any examples or experiences with running 2 eGPU's in Windows with Bootcamp. I have a pair of AMD GPU's and I want to connect them both to my 2020 i7 MBA in Windows. My concern is whether I'll run into resource issues. I have a 5500 XT and RX 5700. I'll probably just move my 5500 XT to my office to see if it's plug-n-play. I did some searching but couldn't find any resources or examples.

Thanks,

@fuzzy, I have done a few builds with 2x AMD eGPUs in Windows Boot Camp. The likelihood of getting them both working is very slim. I was successful with 2016 15-in MacBook Pro [build link] but encountered error 12 on one of them with 2018 Mac mini [build link].

Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to get both my 5500 XT and 5700 working in bootcamp on my MBA at the same time. The AMD Radeon software listed both GPU's and recognized that they were externally connected. For reference I did update to the latest AMD drivers (21.2.3).

Hey, great news. Thanks for posting this.

Are you running Windows 2004 20H2 in Bootcamp?

@fuzzy, That's good to hear. Please post a build guide so that others can base on your build reference. Run AIDA64 GPGPU test to make sure both are working well.
