2017 13" MBP bootcamp detection issues Akitio Thunder3 + GTX 1050 ti

Hi all,

New to posting, been having issues with getting Windows to detect my eGPU. I've had this setup for awhile and it's worked great, but ever since reinstalling bootcamp I can't seem to get the device manager to detect anything from thunderbolt ports. After scrolling through similar builds, I still can't seem to find the source of the problem, as for many folks (including me until recently), it's been working smoothly and is pretty much just plug and play in W10. Details below:

13" Macbook Pro, 2017 Touchbar 16gb ram
Akitio Thunder3
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 ti

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

That must be super annoying!
are you using the same windows build? Checked everything is up to date?
I have the same laptop and as you said, Nvidia builds are pretty much plug and play.
Youre hot plugging on the spinning dots right?
