Hello,

I can run eGPU on [email protected] just fine via Refind, but, unfortunately that uses some setting that is flagged by Battleye.

I have external monitor connected to eGPU and it works fine if I log in via Refind (spoof OSX method) but if I try to login via holding OPTION at restart then I get black screen.

Is there any setting in Windows that I can set when logged via Refind to allow booting into the regular Bootcamp mode (via OPTION at boot)? I don't need interal LCD in Bootcamp

Yes then windows won’t boot past the Windows logo  - just blank screen and that’s it

to bypass refind, I would simply set my startup disk in system preference either to macos or windows. You can do that too in windows via bootcamp control panel. If you still can not start windows, then try reinstalling windows support software. But you need to DDU again after that.

to bypass refind

hmm I actually can bypass Refind fine if I press OPTION at boot - I have then the choice to keep booting into OSX / Refind menu or go straight to Windows.

If I choose Windows, however, I am stuck in the sequence: Windows logo -> two blank screens (internal and external).

The weird part is that if I enable dGPU (750M)  I can actually boot into windows using this method.

If I go with Refind I can boot into Windows with eGPU, but then Battleye goes belly-up due to some kernel modification that Refind does.

I just don't know enough about what Refind actually does that Battleye doesn't like, but there are posts about this on Reddit and here so I was hoping maybe someone came across this

I’m sorry I chosed a wrong word. What I meant to say is to completely disable refind. However it shouldn’t be any different as holding alt on reboot. Usually when refind is disabled, although internal display is not activated, the external display should work without any issue. I’m sorry couldn’t be much of help.
