I just bought gaming box 1080 on my macbook non touch bar.

As other post explains i installed all the drivers and hooked it up, it works fine.

Problem is if i plug in thunderbolt cable with macbook pro and start, window starting procedure is stuck for hours and hours. But when i plug in during loading screen, it works.

is there any way that i can fix the issue and let it plugged in forever?

With the eGPU attached prior to powering on your Mac, the system firmware deactivates the iGPU and causes the Windows boot hang. Read the eGPU Bootcamp setup guide for a fix. Alternatively you can do a delay hot-plug (connect the eGPU when circling dots appears).

Hi! My macbook15 (2016) with AORUS gamingbox1080. Sometimes bootcamp crashes and the screen is garbled. When I was playing games, I was working at intel, GTX1080 was not work.

Make sure your bootcamp is most up to date.

Yesterday I installed a new win10, macOS is 10.13.3.  Is my bootcamp most up to date?

@mr-awe Have you considered rEFInd boot menu? You install it in macOS, and you get a menu to select your OS when you boot your Mac. You can install apple_set_os.efi, and you can use this EFI to spoof a macOS boot, then load Windows. I plug my eGPU in, power up the Mac, spoof the macOS boot, boot Windows (both from the rEFInd menu), then I'm golden! eGPU is recognized, drivers work, games are awesome!

Lastly, you can download or create themes for rEFInd, because the default theme is UGLY. I took a simple theme from online, installed it, and modified the background image (it's all really easy, just Google it). Now I've got something that's easier to use than the hold-Option menu I used to use to boot Windows, plus it makes sure my eGPU is detected EVERY TIME.

Good luck!

You've been warned.
