Hi!
Reaching out to see if anyone can help me with this problem and if someone has experienced the same issue.
As i write in the topic i have the newest Macbook pro 16 inch with full specs possible + Egpu razer core x chroma + RTX 2080 Super graphicscard.

When im in the city in COD warzone my fps can go down to around "50 fps" and is pretty unstable. Every setting is on low.
How can this be possible with this kind of setup ?

appreciate all help i can get!!

a

Did you find a way to make it better? I have the same setup here but a 2070 super and it’s pretty disappointing to spend over $1000 and play warzone on 30-50 FPS. 😭😭

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

.

A guy on Reddit (matthiasbreda) says the game has a VRAM memory leak. He says you need to change the default VRAM memory use setting.

He says changing the property named "VideoMemoryScale" to 0.55 in the file located at {USER}\Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\players\adv_options.ini worked for him.

Also, a few other people in that thread say it works for them as well.

(After you make the change, set the file to "Read Only" in Properties, so it doesn't revert back to the default setting)

Interesting that Activision support says you need to disable Afterburner. Probably half the COD user base is running Afterburner.

Also, interesting that they say after launching the game you need to wait 10-20 minutes for shader pre-loading to complete.

Nah, COD doesn’t run properly on any PC.  Which doesn’t seem to bother Activision much.
