Hi everyone,

Thought I’d share this with you. Everything was working fine on Macmini 2018 i7 + Razer Core X 2070.

Windows updated itself yesterday evening and now the EGPU no longer recognizes. Tried all different ports on the back of the Mac mini, tried hot-plugging on windows desktop (only on the 1st port I got BSOD, all others the EGPU doesn’t recognize).
Might have something to do with windows update I guess?

Trying to reinstall windows now and seeing what happens.

Any other thoughts?

I think you need to downgrade to Windows 10 Build 1803, then lock the system up from updating on its own. This should help too

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Run DDU to remove graphics drivers then reboot. Once Windows loads fully, hot plug the RTX 2070 eGPU and see if there's any detection.

Reinstalled windows from scratch with the May update and it started working again.

Will try some games and re-post here.

All systems working again, i’ll Keep an eye on it for the time being.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen!
