Hi, I have a problem! I need your help and advice.
My devices: imac 27 inches 2017 (gpu Radeon Pro 580), external (on external ssd) windows 10 bootcamp , egpu box "sonnet breakwaybox 550" with nvidia rtx 2070 super.
I have played games with this equipment since fall 2020 with no problem. But! Recently (literally at the beginning of February) I had a problem: the egpu began to turn off during work and games (I'm not exactly sure what exactly it turns off, but its fans start to rotate at maximum speed) and Windows crashes (bsod with various errors). This problem occurs at a random time (maybe almost immediately after turning on Windows, or after some time playing in games). With the egpu disabled, Windows works stably.
Has anyone encountered this? Where in the system can you track errors? What to do?
P.s. my efforts: updated windows, rolled back updates, made the operating system recovery, updated video card drivers (amd (with bootcampDrivers.com) and nvidia), reinstalled windows to another external drive, to test ssd was connected to both thunderbolt and usb-type a, and the problem repeated itself.
Again, my build is very stable for several months from the first setup! The problem appeared recently.
I really need your help, thank you.

.hi @burns_art
Can you test the GPU in another/someone else's enclosure? From what you wrote all points to the enclosure.
I had similar problems when GPU power supply didn't provide enough power (GPU drivers would crash and BSOD at high loads) and with fans spinning at max when connection was not good (loose or misaligned with M.2) - PC crashed but adapter still recognised connection and provided power. You mentioned everything worked OK until Feb - sounds like PSU may have died or something is loose in the enclosure.
If the enclosure is still on warranty, try replacing it - that would solve a lot of troubleshooting. If not, try taking it apart and checking every cable/connection

@timginter, Thanks, yesterday on reddit the guys also hinted at a problem with the box's power supply. Tomorrow I plan to connect a good power supply unit from the PC and test it, thank you very much for your work, I will write about the results

.@timginter, Thanks a lot for the advice! Today I checked with a different power supply and the system became stable, I ordered a new power supply.
