Hi

I was wondering when should I plug in the usb c?

Should I let MacBook to run windows bootcamp and once logged in just plugged in?

Or when MacBook is off already plug in the usb c?

Also, when I want to go back to Mac OS, Is it necessary in bootcamp to "switch" and somehow select to use AMD-DG of Mackbook before I restart the laptop?

I have a MacBook Pro 16"

I just bought:

- Nvidia rtx 3070 Msi ventus Trio

- Razer core x enclosure

@willdang331106, You can try cold-plug with the RTX 3070 + Razer Core X connected. If the system hangs at boot screen then waits until Windows loads into the Desktop then hot-plug the eGPU. You don't need to manually switch to dGPU prior to booting back into macOS.
