Hi,

I've recently placed an order for a new 2018/2020 Mac Mini (i7-8700B/32GB RAM/512GB SSD) from Apple, and will likely purchase an eGPU setup in the coming weeks. egpu.io has been an incredible resource, but I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on getting the most reliable Bootcamp setup for 2020.

My graphics requirements aren't anything super intensive - with the majority of the workload being done in macOS, however, on the very odd occasion I wouldn't mind booting into Windows 10 for some games and general work.

Based on my anticipated needs, I'm leaning more towards the Radeon RX 580, but also considering the Radeon RX 5700 (non-XT). I will pair this with a Razer Core X.

What is compatibility like for Polaris vs Navi RDNA in Bootcamp with Windows 10, particularly the new Windows 10 May 2020 (2004) release on Mac Mini

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

.

@timaux

2004 is incompatible with Polaris and Navi.
