I had some success with my current rig!
System:
- 15" MBP 2018 i7-8850H/16GB/512GB/560X Everymac
- Samsung X5 512GB
- Apple USB-C Multiport Adapter (A2119) LINK /w Apple 87W MNF82LL/A
- Dell 3417W Monitor
- HDMI connected to the USB-C Multiport Adapter
- Displayport connected to RX5700
- Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 350W
- MSI RX5700 MechOC
- Windows 10 - 2004 - 19041.421 (From Insider Preview - Beta Channel)
Step:
- Downloaded Win 10 ISO from LINK
- Used Bootcamp Assistant to install Windows 10
- Install Bootcamp Drivers post-install
- Downloaded the latest drivers from: https://www.bootcampdrivers.com
- Updated to the latest stable via Windows updates: Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
- Enrolled in the Windows Insider by using the following directions: https://insider.windows.com/en-us/getting-started
- Signed in with my Live Account and enrolled in the Beta Channel
- Restarted computer
- Plugged in the eGPU
- Updated to the latest insider build and downloaded the AMD Driver Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
- Installed the new build with the restart
- Switched input to Displayport on the RX5700
- Downloaded the latest AMD drivers for the RX5700
- Extracted it to default location
- Opened Device Manager and disabled the Radeon Pro 560X
- Right Clicked -> Update Device Software -> Selected the location for the RX5700 downloaded drivers
- Test!
- Was playing COD MW 2019 with the Radeon Pro 560X and got about 40FPS on lowest settings and the resolution set to 720p.
- Now with the RX5700 I get avg 80fps on Mostly High (Tesselation on Near, and no AA enabled).
- Running the game with a native resolution of 3440x1440.

Follwed the steps exactly, I have the exact same setup completely but am unable to get any kind of decent frame rates in COD MW (Warzone). GPU works at least but am getting 40 FPS on average when in crouded parts of the map.

@frank_ong, Damn, I was hoping someone managed to get this game to run as it should using this setup. Guess will have to keep troubleshooting. FYI it's beyond bootcamp too, I've used the exact same eGPU and GPU on my dell laptop (a native windows machine) and get the same results, minus the crashes I get on bootcamp, but the frame rate is still shockingly bad. Ridiculous that a 400 quid GPU is performing like a cheap entry level GPU.
