15" MBP + Manitz Venus - Win10 stopped recognising controller?

I’ve had my Manitz Venus with an MSI 1080ti connected to a late 2016 MBP flawlessly for weeks since initial setup. Yesterday I disassembled the enclosure to change over the fan to a quieter one, reassembled everything and booted up.

In MacOS everything is absolutely fine, graphics card, USB, the works. On Windows the enclosure delivers power but none of the ports are recognised and the graphic card doesn’t register.

If I switch it from the left hand side TB3 ports (8xPCI) to the right hand side ones (4xPCI) it works and USB is functional but 4x doesn’t have the bandwidth for the graphics card. Any idea what the hell’s going on? I’ve tried un/reinstalling the Intel TB software, removing the hidden/disconnected devices in device manager but at this point I’m out of ideas. Next step is to reinstall Windows but I’m worried it might be some kind of lower-level firmware reset that’s needed of either the enclosure or the MBP.

Hey there, just happened to me too, same hardware, I have the 15" late 2016 touchbar MBP with the AMD Radeon 450, last night I got it working flawlessly using the modified DSDT and clover method. I was in the middle of setting up my Oculus Rift and I couldn't continue, as the screen was not sleeping on its own, I decided to put it to sleep. When  I woke it up it is no longer being recognized. Or at least partially, no USB, no SATA(I have a disk attached). If I plug it into a different slot it gets partially recognized as a thunderbolt device, with a: "This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE" error message.

I tried clearing the NVRAM on startup, restoring a previous System Restore point, reinstalling bootcamp and installing the latest Thunderbolt drivers from Intel NUC, all to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Cristian
