Windows 10 1903 .295
MBP 13" 2018 - Razer Core X + Asus STRIX 5700 XT
Scenario 1 - Bootup with eGPU connected
Result - External display OK. But the internal display constantly shows a windows logo I cannot turn off, even if I closed the laptop lid, it is still displaying. How can I fix this?
---Solution Update--- So I found if I quickly close the lid after selecting boot disk and before windows logo shows up, I can keep the internal display not displaying anything. I am happy with this.
Scenario 2 - Bootup without eGPU; connect it after showing windows logo during boot up process or after finishing boot up.
Result - error 12. Tried - with this golden windows .295 build, I even have replaced pci.sys file, I still get error 12
Can you please advise what I can do to fix above two issue? Fixing one of them is happy for me.

@itsage, thank you for advising. However, I find it taking too many steps when booting up, plugging and unplugging and plugging - not motivating me to go for it... But I found another simple solution - if I quickly close the lid after selecting boot disk and before windows logo shows up, I can keep the internal display not displaying anything. I am happy with this.

the "closing lid" solution is nice! Thanks for sharing this, I'm also getting this problem and your "closing lid" works on me! Cheers!
To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
