Running games at solid 60-120+ fps that before could barely or not even at all handle loading and navigating the main menu. Halo 2 did some auto quality increase that completely changed how plasma grenades and their explosion look, it looks so real now, like I could grab it out of Master Chief's hand before he throws it, before it had no detail whatsoever and that's what I had always known them to be like, lifechanging.
Used Skyrim as a reference:
Before: 20-30fps on low
After: 60fps solid on medium-high and 45fps solid on ultra
