Thank you for sharing all the information about eGPU and script by goalque. Although my purpose wasn't getting high performance GPU, I thought it might be useful for someone.

My 2012 Mac Mini - Core i7 version - suddenly failed to display 2560x1440 from Displayport. Its HDMI port won't support this resolution neither because of apple's HDMI implementation. I have Sonnet Technology Echo Express SE (Thunderbolt 1 version) for the RAID controller and wondering I could use it for eGPU since I will setup NAS instead of DAS.

Script works great and I could use it with Mac OS Sierra.

System specs  (model inc screen size, CPU, iGPU, dGPU, operating system)
System : 2012 Mac Mini, Core i7 16GByte Memory
iGPU : Intel HD Graphics 4000
Operating System : Mac OS Sierra 10.12

eGPU hardware  (eGPU enclosure, video card, any third-party TB3 cable, any custom mods)
Enclosure : Sonnet Technology Echo Express SE (Thunderbolt 1)
Apple Thunderbolt 1 Cable
EVGA GeForce GT 730 2GB (64bit DDR3) Kepler
P/N: 02G-P3-1733-KR
*I use this GPU because it is PCIe x8 and I don't need to modify enclosure's PCIe port.

Installation steps (what did you do to get it all going?)
Installed GT 730 into Sonnet Echo Express SE
Run the Automated Script
Select Apple Native Driver instead of NVIDIA Web Driver
*NVIDIA Web Driver messed up when open Google Map

Since my setup is rather save broken graphics than high performance 3D, I didn't do any benchmark.

Pending: Add my system information and expected eGPU configuration to my signature to give context to my posts
