System Specs
- Laptop: 2014 HP Envy x360 U011DX 15 Inch
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4510U
- RAM: 16GB
- SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
- iGPU: Intel HD 4400
- OS: Windows 10

eGPU hardware
- EXP GDC Beast v8 mPCIe
- Zotac 1050Ti OC Edition, 4GB
- Custom 3D printed enclosure/dock
- Corsair SF450 PSU

Installation Steps
-Turned on legacy support in BIOS, installed non-UEFI Windows 10
-Booted using HDMI to DVI cable (HDMI to VGA didn't work without drivers installed)
-Installed latest NVidia driver (did a few times with different versions, worked with all of them)
-Turned off Fast Boot
-Ran Nando4's Error 43 Fixer

Bandwidth is as expected for a mPCIe2 link, low, but it doesn't have much noticeable impact on gaming performance.

I can't use my laptop monitor with the eGPU. Fortnite is playable on mostly low settings, 40-70FPS @ 1080p, 50-80FPS @ 1280x1024. Now with my tower and the family PC we can have three people playing at the same time!

Video I made about this setup - goes into much more detail:
