I've got an Acer Aspire (Intel Core i7 4th Gen 4720HQ)

Do you think the process would be the same as what you did here? It doesn't have any thunderbolt ports. Is that a problem? Is there more info you need about the laptop? I am new to this lol.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
