Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB 1867 MHz LPDDR3
Monitor: Apple Cinema Display 27
eGPU hardware
Sonnet eGFX 350w
AMD Vega 64 Strix – *just* fits.
Corsair SF600 PSU, 140MM fan, no side panels (toasty card!)
Installation steps
OSX:Plug & play
Windows:
Disconnect eGPU
Install bootcamp
Download & install Windows 10 build 1803
Disable protection on Mac (SIP) & install reFind
Install apple_set_os.efi into EFI volume
Plug in EGPU (closest port to TAB), boot windows after loading apple_set_os.efi
After this just like using a normal PC, install drivers, play games, with only one caveat – vulkan + full screen + vsync do not work together.

Sold my big gaming box so it’s saved a lot of space and electricity one would assume.
Did you have to install reFind to get it to work? Was it possible to just do hot plug when windows logo starts rotating? I currently have a setup with a gtx 770 akitio node with a 2017 2 thunderbolt 13' MacBook Pro on 10.13.6 and hot plugging when the windows logo shows seems to work for me.
Im currently interested in updating to Mojave for the night mode but I'm worried Mojave will break egpu support for me

.Sorry for bumping this old thread; I have the exact same laptop, an RX 480 with a Razer Core X, and am running Windows 1903 v.30 -- and no matter what I try, I get error 12, sadly. Have you had much luck with this setup lately, if you still have it? Did you have to do the DSDT "Large Memory" setup?
2016 13" non-TouchBar MacBook Pro, Razer Core X, AMD RX 480 -- and an error 12 I can't seem to fix
