2016 13" MacBook Pro [6th,2C,U] + RX Vega 56 @ 32Gbps-TB3 (Mantiz Venus) + macOS 10.14.6 & Win10 1903 [leo_xu]

System specs

1. 2016 late 13″ Macbook Pro [6th,2C,U], no bar

2. BenQ 32" 4K EW3270U Monitor (The Monitor type-c DP cable is a replacement of eGPU TB3 cable, but not sure the bandwidth is 40Gbps or 20Gbps)

Operating System:

1. macOS Mojave 10.14.6

2. Win10 Pro Version 1903, build 18362.356 (via Bootcamp)

eGPU Hardware:

1. Vega 56 8GB

2. Matinz Venus + external SSD (480GB Intel)

Installation:

  Mac OS 10.14.6

  1. Connect all the cables and run in macOS

  2. MacOS will recognize the eGPU and you can hot-plug the graphics card

  Windows 10 Professional Version 1903, build 18362.356

    Items to Download:

      Win10 1903 build 18362.356 MSDN: Download Link

      Graphics Drivers -   https://www.bootcampdrivers.com/  (Adrenalin January 2020 edition Red Gaming Edition)

    Installation Process:

      1. Install Win10 via bootcamp;

      2. Install bootcamp drivers;

      3. Get your large memory DSDT file via DSDT override;

      4. Install automate-eGPU EFI on external SSD in OSX and put your dsdt.aml file in EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\WINDOWS folder;

      5. Shutdown and plug the eGPU in the second BT3 port on the left side which is far away from the screen;

      6. Boot in Win10 via automate-eGPU EFI, then install the AMD driver;

      7. Reboot and everything is working well.

Issues

    The eGPU will be unexpected disconnected in several minutes in the first BT3 port nearby the screen, but no this issue on the second TB3 port.
