You don't need TB3-enabler. The AKiTiO Node uses TI83 controller which is compatible with macOS. Your Node firmware 21.1 may be the culprit. Update the Node's firmware first then run automate-eGPU script.
I have 15″ MBPtb with RP460 | Razer Core | GTX 1080. I did TB3 enabler and automate-eGPU script. automate-eGPU detected the GTX1080 and installed 378 webdriver. I reboot after running the script but MacOS is not detecting the GPU. What am I doing wrong?

hi, we have the same setup! Do you get the eGPU recognized every time you unplug and plug again? Sometimes I have problems to get it recognized by the system, I need to turn off again, unplug power adapter and reconnect Thunder 3....
i will post a new implementation when I will receive my Mantiz Venus, but I'mm already sporting a 1070 in my Thunder 3
any benchmark from you?

I now also encountered the same problem, I can use the first time, then I can not use after the unplugged, and is not detected eGPU..

My theory is this is caused by 15W power delivery… when i will receive my Mantiz Venus (which can charge 87W) i will have the answer. I've noticed the best way is to turn off the computer entirely and stay in efi screen (alt key) since the GFX card power up. I can boot most times usually. Let me know.

Same setup here using 1080ti, never had it work on external or internal displays
