- Booted in to Windows
- Turned on BoostStation
- Plugged in to a left-hand side port.
- Waited for Windows to detect and install
- Updated drivers via NVIDIA website
After installation it worked fine, however plugging it in while windows is running is no longer possible and if it is connected before the MacBook is turned on I get a black screen.

Works great with a huge difference when playing games. Just annoying that you have to plug in at the exact point and then mess around with the sound.
Having the ethernet in the eGPU is a nice bonus, this works in MacOS as well.
Haven't tried a hard drive inside it yet, with the problems getting it connected I don't want to risk damaging a hard drive at the moment.
Update (Feb 2021): Tried the Lenovo optimisation software on my machine and it hasn’t made any noticeable difference to the benchmarks or fix any of the annoyances in the connection procedure I have to follow. Updated to Win10 20H2 too without any issues.
Update (Sep 2021): Added a quick Valley test.
@joe377, sounds like a great setup. I’d be interested to know superposition ‘4K optimized’ test score. Have you tried Bluetooth with egpu connected?

@zerocarbon30, I've added some TimeSpy results to the original post with the hardware I have available. I have had no problems connecting bluetooth devices with the eGPU was connected.
