2017 14" Razer Blade GTX1060 + [email protected] (AKiTiO Node) + Win10 [rb6freak]^
Hello forum, I thought I'd share my eGPU benchmarks and thoughts on my current setup. I've been doing eGPU setups for a year now. Everything was plug-in-play with the Akitio Node. I did the firmware update as soon as I received it. MSI After Burner software was causing my Thunderbolt software to crash so I had to disable MSI After Burner. I lose fan control and in-game temperature monitoring, but its not a big deal to me. I use Razer GPU Switcher application which works just fine with the Node as it did with the Razer Core when I had it. I will complete any benchmark requests for you, cheers.

I'd compare it to the dGPU playing games 1080p at high graphics settings while the eGPU playing games 1440p at ultra, both maintaining same frame rate. This seems to be the case with Rainbow 6 Siege and Deus Ex Mankind Divided games for example.
Few months late on this replay, sorry about that. The noise level of the Core was unbearable to me. The Node is easier to swap both fans with common, commercially available fan sizes.
