Comments
eGPU performance loss
Internal display
Fire Strike(FHD) : 52.67%(28000 -> 13253), Time Spy(QHD) : 24.15%(11000 -> 8344)
External display
Fire Strike(FHD) : 36.03%(28000 -> 17912), Time Spy(QHD) : 15.31%(11000 -> 9316)
Conclusion: The performance degradation is very serious. It's not worth using an eGPU. Even though the eGPU was connected to the external display to minimize performance degradation, it is similar to my dGPU performance. However, I found hope in M.2. The performance of the M.2 is overwhelming compared to TB3. Please refer to my M.2 Build post.
