Edit: I told you it was a mess  :p

Installation steps

Install the card in the AGA, plug everything and boot the laptop. Then I just had to download and install the nvidia driver for desktop card and to reboot.

Heaven 1080p: 2686 (avg fps = 106.6 / min fps = 21.6)

Comments

I am posting this for comparison purpose as I bought a Razer Core X for my new XPS 13 [11th].
The AGA with its proprietary cable scores around 6% - 7% higher than the Razer Core X with the TB3.

Edit: AGA build quality is very cheap. I changed the base power supply because it was noisy even at IDLE.
Now with the Seasonic PS I can't properly close the box. It's an ugly DYI but at least I can power my RTX2070 without issue and without too much noise from the PS.

Any pictures verifying the hardware, however messy, are most appreciated being posted with your build.

@thatg33k, Thank you for sharing this excellent build! I have an AW13R3 too and I like it a lot. I wish mine had the OLED display like yours. It's one of the very few laptop that can use eGPU through the AGA port, Thunderbolt 3 port, and internally through the secondary M.2 socket. All three eGPUs can run together if you ever want to create a bigger mess!

@itsage, oh I didn't realize it was possible. A shame I don't have a second graphic card & screen to test a double egpu setup. Would have been fun. Mr. Green
