In the third picture you can see the clean GPU, it's a GM200, "M" stands for Maxwell. It appears, it's not a Chinese fake.
nVidia cards are Plug'n'Play in Windows 10 Build 1803. Not even reboot is necessary (Error 14 can be resolved by disabling and enabling the card).
Unigine Valley Preset HD:
|GTX980Ti dirty||GTX980Ti clean||GTX980Ti OC|
This card has been used for quite some time. As to be expected there had been some dust in the fan and in the cooling body. Especially this model with its closed body profits when being clean. It's performance was only mediocre and if you want to overclock it, it should be refurbished.
So I disassembled, cleaned, renewed the thermal paste and assembled it, and the result can be seen in in the Valley Benchmark. A Score of 3800 in Unigine Valley Preset HD is something AMD still is dreaming of and this is coming from an old veteran, almost taken out of service.
