Mac Mini 2018, 8th Gen i7 6 Core @ 3.2Ghz, 64GB Ram, 256GB Internal SSD, Intel UHD 630 1536MB Integrated graphics.
Was utterly plug and play. I have my main monitor...a 4K 27" Benq display plugged into one of the eGPUs thru HDMI, a secondary 24" Benq QHD monitor plugged into the other...again through HDMI. I have another identical 24" QHD Benq display as my start up monitor...connected directly to the Mini through HDMI.

Only benchmarks I have ran as my set up is purely for editing and FX work...using DaVinci Resolve as my main software.. Will add more relevant benchmarks as I do them. Blender and May will be next.
The eGPUs have transformed a very basic Mac mini...albeit a top of the range Mac Mini when it was released...into a very capable 4K editing and effects machine. I am hoping it's performance in graphics performance in Adobe software...Photoshop...After Effects etc. will also improve dramatically when they get their finger out...as I also do a fair amount of deign work too. I do not use this for games or Windows.
I have had no issues at all...not even excessive fans blowing whilst sleeping.
