One LG 32UD59-B 4k 32" monitor connectived via one HDMI cable into HDMI port 2.

Installation steps (what did you do to get it all going?)
Choose an approved graphics card/enclosure from Apple's help site.
Under Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6 it was literally plug-n-play. Thunderbolt cable (included) from Mini to eGPU. HDMI cable from eGPU to LG monitor port 2. Driver disconnect shows up in Menu bar.

Was hot to the touch the first day it operated. It seems to have settled down and now it's very quiet operation and has been stable. 13x improvement over my onboard graphics card (Intel UHD 630).

Top: Sonnet Breakaway Puck, middle LG DVD player with scrap plastic "legs" superglued on to allow some breathing space for the Mini below it. Below the Mini is one of my hubs with a FLIRC IR receiver dongle.
At some point, will try to come up with a cover to go below my monitor to hide all that stuff.
