@alejandro_torres You write: "wait the special boot64.efi load" What do you mean with special boot64.efi ? You didn't mention to change the efi loader. And I didn't see you using the portdance.

Like karant im getting error 12 if im follow your instructions.

Could you please help ?

I meant I had to do that the first time I tried to use the eGPU. This time I don't have to do any of those things.

@karant Thank you for the info. Have already seen your build and looked at it in detail. This is roughly my current configuration. But have now tried to make a new / better start with a current Windows version. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any improvement in this regard. Since the version of @alejandro_torres doesn't work that way, I'll try your build. Will report. Thanks again.

@lonestar, looks like something is missing in my instructions or maybe there are people who can make it work and I do not know of. Anyway my configuration remains stable and all the restarts work without problems from macos to windows and vice versa without having to touch a key or disconnecting/reconnecting cables. Good luck!

@alejandro_torres Yes, I think so too. If you look around in the forum, you will find almost 100 entries that end in error 12. I tested it myself. Without a changed EFI version with portdance or deactivating various system resources or something like that, you will not get the 2019 16 inch MacBook Pro to run with the current Windows version. Anyway, thank you for your support.

@lonestar, maybe it has to do with the hardware as I never had that error even on the first installation

@alejandro_torres I don't think so. @karant had the same problem. Can only imagine something like timing when plugging in in the boot phase or the fact that you operate your device closed. Once the PCI devices are rearranged, the problem isn't that big anyway. The newer Windows versions seem to handle the PCI resources differently. There is also the topic pci.sys in the forum. In addition, the 16 inch MacBook Pro is a separate issue / problem. However, if we can't find the crucial detail of your installation, the only real solution is Windows 10 version 1903.

I have purchased razer core x and asrock 5600xt, was little bit sceptical but wtf, this combo works no issues in both OS...

Installed bootcamp from latest big sur with win 10 pro downloaded from MS.

downloaded dec RED drivers from bootcampdrivers.

run DDU in safe mode and installed the RED drivers... and it works Smile even hot plug and unplug in already booted W10

Playing nice games on internall monitor no issues

edit: i did as well update the w10
