Plug and play install initially. Ran DDU in safemode and then installed driver package after reboot. Is rock solid did not have to adjust any driver settings for stability like I did with my 2060 Super. The 3060ti is wonderful! Crazy fast and silent on load with absolutely no coil whine. Idles at 32C in the enclosure. Was fortunate enough to snag this when it was released and will be returning the 2060 Super since I paid more for it than the 3060TI!
Performance difference between 3060ti and 2060 Super:
@kks, I am very pleased with the results thus far! Certainly I would be getting more FPS from a desktop and have been flirting with the idea of building an ITX box instead of the laptop but I really like having the ability to just pick up the Stealth and throw it into a bag and only have one system. Right now I am not really going anywhere (working from home and trying to social distance as much as possible) but hopefully I"ll be able to do that more in the future.
@mbliss11, Glad you were satisfied. I'm also looking forward to my upcoming system. On the one hand, reading your writings gave me peace of mind too.
