@Tmash , would you mind submitting a build of your Motile 14 eGPU system by completing a build template ? This is a system we haven't seen before. Would love to see pics of your 3D printed M.2 slot access slider door as well.

Have you found the DA-2 sufficient for the 5600 XT? Doing benchmarking with it on anandtech, they reached 240W power draw

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@danny8, This is an ITX version and it doesn't consume as much power. I have been using the ITX RX 5600 XT with both DA-2 in this build and the VisionTek mini eGFX which has a 240W power adapter (45W Power Delivery). There has been no power issues in both macOS and Windows.

Hi, did you try updating the Dell G5's bios to 1.5.0? Just want to share that it seems to lower the bus speeds from Gen 3 x4 to Gen 3 x2 or sometimes 1.1~ with me using an rtx 3080.

But good news is that reverting to 1.4.4 / 1.3.0 has no issues on e-gpu via the 2nd M.2 slot.

@janver22, Thank you for sharing the changed behavior in BIOS 1.5.0. I no longer have the Dell G5 SE 5055.

Hi! I also have a Ryzen notebook and I'm wondering if it is possible to use the notebook screen to play. Or you have to plug an external display to use the egpu ?
