Feel free to ask anything. The setup is new. I'm using it only 2 weeks. Still in testing.
The compromise I had to accept is the sleeping issue. The wake-ups are lottery 🙂 I set up the "hot"corner to off the display and I'm letting the system running. I'm shutting it down only for nights. The consumption is acceptable. I'm very happy with the performance for such a old gear.

Hi, I have a 2013 MacBook Air with the same spec as yours and I was thinking of buying the same eGPU + enclosure. Right now I got rid of macOS Catalina and wanted to stick just with a Windows 10 installation, in fact I got the LTSC version running smoothly through Bootcamp on the entire partition on my Mac.

I wanted to ask you if there's some particular thing to do on Windows and/or generally to make it recognize. Obviously I already have the Mac connected on an external monitor. Did you have to manually modify the Akitio 2 for the external power supply to work or not? Thanks if you want to reply.

Hi. GTX 1050Ti works under windows without any problems. Best version is 1903V1. In Mac OS it is working flawlessly with 10.13.6. If you need internal display working under windows you’ll need to run automate EFI from usb stick. If don’t. Just run it without everything, it will run. The first setup and driver initialization will by blindly. I’m using RDP or TeamViewer to install drivers. After restart, it will start working. Good luck.

I don’t modify the power supply. But I’m using the big one. 120watt = 12V x 10A.
