Today I got the XG Station 2 and everything worked out of the BOX! Its a monster enclosure and i like it much more then the HP Omen Accelerator, even the omen got a 2.5" slot for HD, i dont miss it right now...
Anyhow this setup works straight out of the box and looks amazing! I have a Alienware 34 inch 4k 120hz screen and so far could play the new UT and PUBG with ultra settings in 4k with the MSI gtx 1080ti. Will some benchmarks maybe later.
Somehow my plasma led light in the front of the enclosure doenst work, but maybe I need to install a driver or something for that...
This is how the HP Omen Accelerator enclosure should have worked on this nice Spectre machine..
@alessandro_de_conno, I've prefilled an implementation guide template with the details you've posted already. Adding a CUDA-Z bandwidth screenshot, a pic showing your eGPU & system and a bit of info on what you did to get it going (plug and play?) and it's complete.
