Since my wife disabled my table in the favour for kids, my build is currently on the Christmas table lol, wife already complaining that it do not meet the Christmas table concept, so change incoming
Installation steps
OSX works plug an play
For windows, i installed Win10 via bootcamp manager in latest Big Sur. The iso i downloaded from MS x64.
After W installation, went into safe mode and DDU disabled all installed drivers according to manual.
Then installed the latest Dec RED drivers from bootcampdrivers
Thats it lol, eGPU working plug and play in W10 too...no need to speculate during login screen etc..just hot plug and its working...
I was very afraid with purchasing radeon card, since i read horror stories here how its incompatible etc....but very happy with the setup now...
looks like they did change something to make it work...
I do use it on INTERNAL monitor...dont have external monitor
Benchmarks i do not have any benchmark programs
Comments the gaming is improved a lot for me....since this setup is very silent, no fans from MBP and some FAN noise from the eGPU.
I just want to know how to decrease the CPU temp little bit..currently while gaming the CPU sits on 60-70C range.
I have disabled turbo boost in w10
