Hello,

This is my first post here.

I am currently thinking of setting up a ADT-Link R43SG-TB3 behind a Thunderbolt 3hub. for my MacBook Pro.

I want to do this because I want to be able to just plug in once (gpu with monitor/mouse/keyboard) whenever I want to use my Macbook Pro as a desktop with my monitors. And when I want to use my Macbook as mobile device, I can just unplug the hub once.

So my question is will this kind of Thunderbolt 3 hub works with eGPU?

Other alternative:

The setup I'm thinking will be like this

macbook→ thunderbolt hub → mouse/keyboard/egpu → monitor

I'm thinking that the hub uses two TB ports of macbook, so maybe it can work?

Thank you

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Seems like this is possible:

Sorry for duplicate question:

@b_n, both of those are USB-C hubs with Thunderbolt 3 pass thru so connecting any Thunderbolt 3 device such as an eGPU should work.

One port from the MacBook Pro is used for the USB-C hub. The other port is used for Thunderbolt 3 pass thru (including power delivery).
