[US] Best Buy: $250 OFF 2020 14" MSI Prestige EVO - $949.99
This is the reference 11th gen Tiger Lake CPU Thunderbolt 4 laptop that Intel used as media units for its EVO V platform. Best Buy is discounting $250 off an already good deal on an i7-1185G7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD 14-in FHD ultrabook. Besides the Thunderbolt 4 ports and the 28W processor, I'm curious about PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot inside this machine as well. I ordered one and will pick it up on Monday. https://bestbuy.7tiv.net/mxb7X
is the ram user upgradable in this one. I show a review this morning that mentioned that memory can be up to 32gb

@tsakal, The RAM is soldered unfortunately.
I picked up the MSI Prestige 14 on Sunday and have been doing some testing. The RTX 3080 Gaming Box performs better with this i7-1185G7 laptop compared to the 2020 13-in Ice Lake MacBook Pro [unboxing link]. The package comes with a carrying case (much larger than the 14" footprint), a compact 65W USB-C charger, and a USB-A to Ethernet adapter.
The raised hinge design allows better airflow. I noticed the CPU holds boost longer. The machine comes with MSI Center utility to change performance modes and fan speeds. The fans can get loud with "High Performance" and "Cooler Boost". I tried different combinations and found "High Performance" and "Advanced" to be a good setting.
I'll put a build guide together in the morning.
