Hello and thank you for having me in this forum.  We want to add an eGPU to this AIO even though it has a gtx 1050 in it.  It will barely play BO4 at 1080 much less 4k. This is the computer we have
https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-envy-curved-all-in-one-34-b135se/. I read that the pc maker must enable something in the thunderbolt port. Is this true? Also we are looking at the HP eGPU for this build.  Thank you all for your help.

@lancetdavis Welcome aboard! You can definitely pair the OMEN Accelerator to the AIO desktop. What version of Intel Thunderbolt Software do you have on this computer? It should be a straight-forward process.

Hello.  Thank you for your response. I an going to have to check on that but I did find some info in HP website specifically mentioning our computer and the Omen accelerator as compatible.  I think this is going to work out perfect! I may have jumped the gun coming here to this forum but I know it is the best place to learn!

That’s good to hear. The next step is GPU selection. We’ve learned that having a different brand eGPU is easier to setup than one from the same brand as dGPU. Do you see both GTX 1050 dGPU and Intel iGPU in Device Manager?
