Hi all! first post for me
My question will be pretty easy today.
I know there is already some builds and open topic, but I’d like to have a unique up-to-date.

Will be easy and performing to attach 2 nvidia cards (most probably gtx 1080 or rtx 2070) on a iMac Pro (downgraded to High Sierra 13.2)?

Can I buy the necessary stuff or is there some risk to waste lot of money?

Thank you in advance Smile

EDIT: Purpose is not display usage but a fast rendering on software like octane, redshift, fatorm.

It's possible but not easy with either Purge-wrangler or automate-eGPU EFI. You can only use GTX 1000 series and older Nvidia cards.

Thank you itsage!
I will start asap, I just need the time to find good prices for the necessary.
In the meanwhile I will read guides and builds around the forum.

Do you have some hints about the enclosures:  Is there something that would be clearly the best choice in my case?
