NVidia GTX9xx cards are good for you. Avoid GTX10xx ones: https://egpu.io/forums/expresscard-mpcie-m-2-adapters/nvidia-is-killing-off-mpciengff-m2-egpus-error-43-with-372-90/

I think the only way to connect the eGPU is via NGFF and you will get bottlenecks on the PICe adapter (up to 2.5Gpbs) so I would settle for a GTX 750 or a RX460.

Oh and by the way, is there a really high difference between gtx 750 Ti and gtx 960? Maybe there is a good site to compare any cards?

.Try GPU boss: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-960-vs-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti
Also keep in mind that you have to power the GPU so check the power usage of the card. If its under 120W, you can use a regular 12V 10A source. If its below 220W go for the Dell DA-2. If exceeds 220W, go for an ATX source. For example the 960 uses around 100W while the 750TI is reported to be around 60W. But for a 970/980 you would need a Dell DA-2 source

Power supply you say, I have some Corsair power supply left over, it's 350W I believe, should I replace it with sth weaker?

.Should do it

Looks like not much of a difference, lol
