Hello,

i have a asus n73sv, i have added a exp gdc beast 8.4b and for some reason i can't run my secondary screen off my external gpu, currently i'm using my laptop lcd + my laptop's hdmi port to run everything from the e-gpu, my laptop has a intel hd 3000, a disabled 540m (with setup 1.35) and a external gtx msi 960, + i've also tested this on a gt 730. both did the same.

so when i run this with the intern lcd + hdmi from the laptop everything is fine, it uses my e-gpu to runs stuff i can run gta 5 bla bla bla...

but when i take the hdmi out of my laptop and plug it in to my e-gpu it self, i can run my internal screen + the my tv shows image, but once i take something (like chrome or a game) and put it on the tv , my video drivers will crash. i've had this since i set this up, i also have a post about how i set it up so you can see what i've done:

https://egpu.io/forums/builds/2011-17-asus-n73sv-gtx9605gbps-mpcie-exp-gdc-8-4d-win10-gagliano20/

but now i'd like to get the full performance when playing games on my tv so i'd like to run the hdmi from the egpu instead of my laptop

anyone knows what's going on?

Have you tried setting Windows to display on the eGPU only?

yes if i disable the intel hd completly and just run the 960, it will disable my laptop lcd but yes then the hdmi will work, but that's the only thing that works then, i need both screens :s
