eGPU + Lenovo Ideadpad330
@seotheneo none of Ideapad pad have thunderbolt, maximum have USB C.
I've a i7(8th) Lenovo Ideadpad 330, its possible to put a eGPU on it and GTX1060 offboard?
The ideapad don't have TB3 or m2 x4 link, your only choice is use the m2 a/e key and this is only x1 link usable. It has a 4gbps bandwidth, you'll have only a partial performance in this link and internal monitor, but using a external monitor you gain more fps. If 60fps constantly matter too much for you, avoid this x1 egpu and search for an TB3 laptop, or build a desktop, same you use the gtx 1060 you'll have some bottleneck caused by X1 link bandwidth..
