EXP GDC burned out

Hello everyone, I bought recently exp gdc 8.5c to my thinkpad x230

I used it for several days, and today after 15 minutes of the game it turned off, and I could smell the smoke. I looked into it saw a burned capacitor C13. When turned on again, the cooler video card works at maximum speed, and the laptop no longer sees the exp gdc.

Does anyone have any idea why this happened and what can be done?

ps: nvidia gts450(msi) and power box pb500w

HI, same happened to me. Im working with a MSI 1080ti Gaming X with a 700w Corsair VP700P PSU.

I'm wondering what is the max WATT that the EXP GDC Beast 8.5c can handle?
