Currently have it up and running with no issues. I have a USB Hub + PS2 to USB Adapter connected to the EXP GDC its powered it up with no problem the only issue is that windows is not detecting it. Some sort of switch or option i have to enable for windows to detect the usb port on GDC?

OS : Win 8

Notebook mPCIe WLAN ports often do not have the USB port wired. Dell Latitudes often being an exception, wiring their WLAN ports for WWAN (USB) use. If using mPCIe then more than not that the eGPU adapter USB port will not work.

Expresscard interfaces do have USB wired through so there the USB port can work.

Damn. Since i do have a HDMI port open on my laptop, Would a cable HDMI to USB work in detecting it ? Currently the onboard GFX is disabled but that would not interfere with the HDMI transferring data correct?

Your HDMI port on the laptop has nothing to do with eGPU or USB. It cannot help you here.

Give your Node Pro a second Thunderbolt3 controller for reliable peripherals by re-using a TB3 dock (~50$).

Clearly you can't read. I am asking If a HDMI to USB would enable my windows 8 to detect my controller. Thanks anyways.

Clearly, I can read: Your problem is that there is no USB connection between the laptop and the USB port in the GDC Beast, because as nando said, there likely is no USB connectivity in your mPCIe slot (since you have not corrected him, you do not seem to be using Expresscard). HDMI and USB are not related in any way. There is no such thing as HDMI to USB cable because the two protocols have nothing to do with each other (USB-C and alternate modes aside, but this is not the case here). Even if you were to create such a cable (how? which pins go where? what does it do?), it won't help you any.
