Setting up the exp gdc is sucess . I can now see the graphics card in CPU-Z as the main GPU. But the problem is that my exp gdc Dock has no indicator light (Green led flashing). Any can help me with this. I think my item was damaged. Thanks

@mr-ribeiro

my laptop is quite old ASUS K43SD core i5 2450M. I did hibernation and turn on power on, but still not recognize on device manager, i set EXP GDC ATX switch on. The GPU is Spinning but EXP GDC indikator light is off, and on Device manager still no device detected.

Should i instal Setup 1.35 nando's ? because on my bios seting there are no option to disable GPU.

Sorry i really new and don't know how to setting the EXP gdc

Thnks for help

*sorry for my bad english

OP:

I believe the 'no green light'-thing that you mention might be an unintentional red herring: my EXP GDC Beast (v. 8.5c) is working perfectly and yet doesn't display said 'light' either. Perhaps the 8.5c version of the Beast doesn't have a light, and even if it does, the fact it isn't working hasn't prevented mine from functioning as it should.

VN.

Try hotswapping.

I had to do this with my Lenovo laptop as they'd disabled (Whitelisted) the ability to plug third party stuff into the NGFF/ M.2 socket.

To do a hotswap boot your machine with the Wifi Card plugged, and also the Graphics card and External Powersupply on, then put your laptop into sleep mode and disconnect the wifi card and plug in the Beasts cable (either Mini PCIE or NGFF/ M.2). Now check your Device Manager, hopefully the Graphics Card will now show up.
