Hi

I'm running:

  • Fujitsu T734
  • 12gb ram
  • PE4C 3.0
  • GTX 660Ti
  • Corsair SF600 600w psu
  • Windows 10 1903

It was running fine last night and I powered it off using a timer (cmd: shutdown -s -t 7200) to turn it off in two hours time. I have done this before without problem (scheduling a shutdown overnight)

This morning, the notebook was off as expected. I unplugged the expresscard adaptor, then turned on the notebook, all is fine.

When I plugged in the expresscard adaptor, the Geforce powered up as usual, however, it hasn't been detected by windows at all; it does not show up in device manager at all under display adaptors.

There is also nothing in the event viewer to acknowledge I have plugged the graphics card in.

lspci output:

02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 6b)

I used a jumper on the PE4C to set the PSU on but it has no effect. The only thing that happens in the red D4 LED flashes on, then off again.

Are there any low level logs I can check to see if the expresscard plug-in event is even acknowledged by the hardware?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
