Hi everyone

i am newbie and want to ask some questions. I have an HP Elitebook 8570p and I am planning to use a GTX 780 with an EXP GDC 8.4. So is it ok?  I am wondering whether the Dell power of the beast is enough for this card or i have to buy ATX power ?

A GTX780 has a 250W TDP, exceeding the 220W output of a Dell DA-2.  Even a GTX770 cannot be ran comfortably with that PSU. You'd then either require a more powerful PSU such an ATX PSU or a lower power consumption card like a GTX680 (195W), GTX1050Ti (75W),  GTX1060 (120w),  GTX1070 (150W) to run with your Dell DA-2.

eGPU Setup 1.35    •    eGPU Port Bandwidth Reference Table

2015 15" Dell Precision 7510 (Q M1000M) [6th,4C,H] + GTX 1080 Ti @32Gbps-M2 (ADT-Link R43SG) + Win10 1803 [build link]
