System specs (Lenovo T420 14", i5-2520M, Intel HD 3000, dGPU, Windows 10  v10.0.17763 starting out)

eGPU hardware (PCIe PCI-E EXP GDC Expresscard, GeForce GTX 780 Ti, external power supply)

Hardware pictures (coming soon)

Installation steps (so far, no luck)

Ordered Express Card GDC on 5/22
Shopped for secondhand graphics on eBay, Facebook, Craigslist
Bought PowerColor Radeon 6870 from Craigslist seller
No Win10 support for this card / sold it on eBay

Found GTX 780 Ti seller on Facebook on 6/27
Need 2 Molex 4-pin to 8-pin cable and DVI-D to VGA connector
       Ordered from Amazon

Tried basic power setup and reboots to see if system "sees" eGPU -
Looked up YouTube videos and forums
Made changes to BIOS like changing Expresscard speed from "Automatic" to "Generation 1"

Still researching but may need to try PCI M.2 solution?

Benchmarks (coming soon, I hope)

Comments (TBD)

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.
