Lenovo y520-15ikbn+ADT-Link R43SL+RTX 2080 ti
Hi to every one and spacial tnx to @nando4
20gb ddr4 ram
INTEL HD 630 (IGPU)
GTX 1050 4gb (DGPU)
RTX 2080 TI (EGPU)
M.2 nvme ADT-Link R43SL connector
650w 80 plus gold PSU(new)
- I connect the m.2 connector to the nvme m.2 slot, connect the 4 pin floppy from psu to the m.2 connector, connected x2 8pin connector from psu to rtx 2080 ti and lastly insert the rtx 2080 ti to the x16 slot(adt R43SL) turn on the laptop got to the windows without problem, device manager detected the new graphic card, update the diver and restart in windows got error 43 then applied the nvidia-error43-fixer , and error gone and rtx 2080 ti have shown in device manger with no problem, gpu z can detect it and show all the details, but cant run any graphic activity nothing run with rtx,so i connected the rtx to tv using HDMI it take few minutes and then i can see my desktop screen on the tv AND NO display on laptop BUT it take 4 to 5 seconds then laptop restart WITHOUT any BSOD.if let it that way after restart automatically i have windows loaded on tv but it again restart after 4 to 5 sec without any BSOD
If i awake the laptop from shutdown and NOT connected to tv via hdmi, it load up to windows the gpu z show it as email@example.com with uefi check mark but still cant do any activity with rtx
If i restart the laptop and NOT connected to tv via hdmi, it load up to windows the gpu z show it as [email protected] with NO uefi check but still cant do any activity with rtx
Connected rtx to tv via hdmi from shutdown EITHER restart, it load to windows on tv and with no display on laptop BUT it restart in 4 to 5 seconds with no BSOD
What seems could be the problem?
Tnx in advance

Since you are using gtx 1080ti as egpu most probably you dnt need to disable your wifi in bios, dnt forget to update your bios version to the lates which the download is available in lenovo site for the specific laptop, you can easily find it by searching in Google
