M2 Slot turns off

Hi together,

I bought an EXP GDC mini PCIe and got a Notebook which sadly had a NGFF Slot. So I bought an NGFF to mini PCIe adapter and connected a 400 W PSU and a HD 6950 to the Notebook (HP 250 G7) First everything worked well, the next day there was no eGPU anymore. So I tried to use DIY eGPU Setup 1.35, purchased it, followed the instruction and everything went well with DIY eGPU Setup 1.35 detected the HD 6950. My PSU is always on. But now the PCI slot doesnt go on anymore, no matter if I plug in the original WIFI Adapter. It doesnt get detected either.

Anyone can help me?

Thanks in advance.

Consider using isopropyl alcohol and swabs to clean your notebook's M.2 slot and the M.2 edge connectors on your wifi card and eGPU adapter. Then re-test the wifi card, booting straight into Windows to confirm the wifi works and the M.2 slot is still functional.
