No luck on my pre-purchase (never got in stock so I canceled).

But, guess what I found today on this shop : https://www.boulanger.com/ref/1159311

3499€ for the top configuration, still a lot of money but I might give it a try !

And... my order status is now " dispatched " !

Hype is going up Smile

Too much hyped... I returned it.

To be clear, the laptop is a beast and even on high CPU load it stays mostly quiet, by far the best convertible laptop on thsi part.

On eGPU part, the 150W and 100W more for charging the laptop is too much for the cooling system... fan rinning too fast and so the noise.

eGPU connector is not bad but not good either, it's OK.

It could be perfect if they go for an eGPU enclosure with this connector.

For now I prefer my yoga 7 1165g7 with TB4 and eGPU enclosure.

I got the ROG Flow X13 [Ryzen 9 5900HS + RTX 3050 Ti] and XG Mobile today. Didn't have time to use it just yet but both the laptop and eGPU are smaller than I anticipated. The XG Mobile was warm to the touch in idle so I could see thermal being an issue during heavy load. Here it is with the other two XG Station eGPU enclosures.

If anyone is feeling adventurous, they could try this combo??

And then if you want to stick a x16 PCIe card all you need is:

They would sort out the physical connections I think (assuming ASUS hasn't screwed with the pinout of the oculink cable), but I don't know anything about driver support lol

how this it went ? have worked out for you ?

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

Yea, someone tried it, and it seems it's not even physically a standard OCulink connection:

A shame.
