Currently it is used in the configuration of Clevo P650SE + EXP GDC 9.0b (NGFF) + ELSA GTX 1080 SAC.
Since I carry the PC at work, I plug and unplug the NGFF HDMI cable from eGPU.

I was afraid of the trouble of the HDMI cable / connector, so I thought about relaying with the extension cable.
Although I prepared an HDMI cable, the GPU's fan rotates although it is connected, but the PC side does not recognize the GPU.

Is the type of cable used for extension too bad? Will internal wiring change depending on HDMI version?

please teach me.

Cannot advise adding an extender to the EXP GDC 9.0b since it already has Gen3 signalling issues. Instead, suggest using ADT-Link extenders and eGPU adapters as posted at:

Is it to connect the NGFF cable (connector) of the eGPU from the outside of the PC by mounting the M.2 NVMe extension cable (extender) on the PC?
I did not know there was such a useful thing.

Thank you very much.
