Hello,

I plan to use exp gdc 8.5c with huawei matebook d14, but here is the problem.

Laptop has intel uhd 620 and nvidia 150mx. The nvidia gpu died, and whenever i try  to instal driver for it, i get blue screen of death, so I disabled it in device manager.

Question is, can I use another nvidia gpu for exp gdc without getting blue screen when installing drivers ? Will there be any conflict? Will the driver for the new egpu reactivate my dead dgpu? Or should i rather buy amd gpu?

Any and all help is much appreciated.

To do: Create my signature with system and expected eGPU configuration information to give context to my posts. I have no builds.

@bona_sera, You might have better luck with an AMD card.  I have a MacBook Pro late 2011 and use the exp gdc 8.0 ( version unsure ) and for the life of me I can't get my AMD Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 580 to work.  So, it tried an EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti and it worked just fine.  I'm guessing my MacBook Pro doesn't like two AMD gpu's.  Try a cheap AMD card to see it that's the problem.
